Measurement Guide

To determine the top measurement (M1): measure from the withers (at the level of the front leg) to just beyond the base of the tail. Measuring slightly beyond the tail ensures that the blanket will cover the horse’s entire back.

For the bottom measurement (M2): measure from the center of the chest, across the flank, to the rear thigh. Never measure up to the buttock crease!

Be sure to carefully review the attached photo to see exactly where to start and end your measurements.

M1 represents the top measurement of the blanket in centimeters, while M2 represents the bottom measurement in centimeters. Together, these numbers provide a good estimate of the blanket size your horse will need.

The two numbers refer to the measurements of the blanket. The first number is the top measurement (M1), and the second number, after the slash, is the bottom measurement (M2). Both measurements are expressed in centimeters.

Shipping

You can pick up your order in-store by scheduling an appointment via email or phone. Alternatively, you can have your order delivered to your home. During the checkout process, you also have the option to provide a different delivery address if preferred.

For orders placed before 4:00 PM, delivery is typically made the next working day, depending on the payment method. Your package is usually delivered the next business day to addresses in Belgium and the Netherlands. For orders placed after 4:00 PM, delivery will occur within 48 hours.

Delivery to France and Germany may take slightly longer. If you have any questions, please contact us for more detailed information.

There are no shipments on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays. If any products are unexpectedly out of stock, we will contact you to inform you and provide the necessary updates.

Delivery costs vary based on weight, volume, destination, and order amount. The costs are applied according to the table below, related to the order value. Shipping costs are inclusive of VAT.

Payments

Yes, absolutely. Select the ‘Pickup in Store’ option under ‘Shipping Method’. You will receive an email once your order is ready, asking you to notify us (by email or phone) when you plan to pick it up. Once your appointment is confirmed, you can collect your order. Shipping costs will, of course, not be charged. Your order will be reserved for you for 14 days; after this period, it will be returned to the warehouse.

Yes, you can, but only by appointment made via phone or email. Please refer to the ‘About Us’ section.

For payments in our online store, we use the services of the payment provider Sisow. You will see the name Sisow appear during the payment process. Sisow has been a reliable payment provider in the online shopping world for many years. Payments are processed on a secure and reliable payment platform (https connection).

You can choose from the following payment methods:

  1. iDeal (Netherlands)
    The total amount is immediately debited from your account online, and your order is processed right away. If you want to receive your products quickly, this is one of the fastest payment methods. There are no additional costs for the buyer.

  2. Bancontact (Belgium)
    The total amount is immediately debited from your account online, and your order is processed right away. If you want to receive your products quickly, this is one of the fastest payment methods. There are no additional costs for the buyer.

  3. Sofort Banking (Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, etc.)
    This payment method is similar to iDeal and Bancontact. The total amount is immediately debited from your account online, and your order is processed right away. If you want to receive your products quickly, this is one of the fastest payment methods. There are no additional costs for the buyer.

  4. Bank Transfer/Acceptgiro
    For a bank transfer, you pay in advance through your own bank after receiving an email with your order details, invoice, and bank information. This method takes a bit more time, so expect a processing time of two to five working days before your order can be processed. There are no additional costs for the buyer within the Eurozone. If you have any questions or doubts, please contact your bank.

  5. PayPal
    Currently not active. However, there are additional costs for the buyer associated with this method. These extra costs will be displayed in the shopping cart.

  6. Credit Card
    Currently not active. You can pay with ‘VISA,’ ‘MasterCard,’ and ‘Maestro’ credit cards. Additional costs are associated with this method. These extra costs will be displayed in the shopping cart.

After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email from us. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking number so you can monitor your shipment with the courier service.

No. During the ordering process, you can provide your VAT number. We will verify if this is a valid VAT number. If confirmed, you will receive an invoice with VAT set to 0% under the intra-community arrangements within the EU. Orders with an invalid VAT number cannot be processed. Companies without a valid VAT number and private individuals will always be charged the applicable VAT rates.

Delivery

Please contact us via email at info@minihorse.eu or by phone, and we will investigate the issue with the courier service. We will then follow up with you to provide a status update.

Backorders are shipped to customers as soon as they arrive. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with the tracking number, allowing you to monitor your delivery with the courier service.

Returns

If your order includes incorrect, incomplete, or damaged products, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt. We will assess the situation and work to resolve it as quickly as possible. You can reach us via email at info@minihorse.eu or by phone.

As a private customer, you have the option to return products sent to your address within 14 days of receipt, provided they are in their original and undamaged packaging. The general terms and conditions apply in this case, and you can find them on our website under the relevant section.

Please return your products to our address (see website) along with a copy of the invoice and, if applicable, a completed return form. Items that have clearly been used, damaged, or fall under the criteria outlined in the terms and conditions cannot be accepted for return. If the returned products are in good condition, undamaged, and in their original packaging, and do not pose any hygiene or safety risks, the purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days of receipt. The cost of return shipping is always borne by the customer.

We offer a warranty period of two years from the original purchase date for products that come with a legal warranty, unless otherwise stated that we extend this warranty period by additional months or years. The legal warranty period can never be shortened. If you encounter an issue, please contact us. We will assess the situation and work to resolve it as quickly as possible. If it is not possible to repair or exchange the device, you may receive a replacement product within the warranty period. After the warranty period has expired, we will evaluate whether the repair costs are worthwhile. After consultation with the customer, a decision will be made on whether or not to proceed with the repair.

The warranty expires in the following cases:

  • Damage due to modifications, repairs, etc., to the device.
  • If defects arise from incorrect or improper use or insufficient maintenance of the product.
  • Damage caused by water damage, fire, power outages, accidents, natural disasters, etc.
  • Damage resulting from commercial, professional, or collective use of the device; for professional use, the warranty period is reduced to 6 months.
  • Any damage after delivery caused to the device (e.g., oxidation, shocks, drops, dust, dirt, etc.), as well as its contents.
  • Consumables, accessories, or parts that need to be regularly replaced, such as batteries, bulbs, etc.
  • Damage due to insufficient protection of the device during shipping.

Offerings

Since it’s impossible to showcase the entire range of products, you can always contact us for special requests. If we’re able to supply the product, we’ll send you a quote and estimated delivery time as soon as possible. If the product is unavailable, we may consider producing it ourselves. So, feel free to reach out to us, and we’ll see how we can assist each other.

We strive to make the webshop selection as consistent as possible with the in-store offerings. However, there may be some slight differences between the two. Therefore, it might be a good idea to contact us for confirmation.
